Faith & Service
John Carroll Catholic High School has served students and families within the Diocese of Palm Beach for nearly seventy years, forming its graduates according to the image of God in which we are all uniquely made. To reiterate the words of Fr. Mike Schmitz at the 10th National Eucharistic Congress, “We recognize that knowledge can make us great, but only love can make us saints.” We love Christ by serving our friends, our families, and our neighbors with joy, seeking opportunities daily to grow in faith and community. In doing so, we answer the call to share our talents, discern our God-given vocations, and foster peace in the lives of our brothers and sisters.
Please join us in this sacramental environment as we discover the path beset by God the Father, a path we pursue in our campus-wide efforts, which include:
- Service to the Poor, Hungry, Abandoned, and Alienated
- Service to Our Community and the Environment
- Community Prayer and Scriptural Study
- The Sacrifice of the Most Holy Mass (With Observance of Holy Feasts and Solemnities)
- Opportunities for Liturgical Ministry (Lector, Altar Server, and Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion)
- Penance Services
- Weekly Liturgy of the Word Services (Led by Volunteer Students, Faculty, and Administration)
- Resources for the Order of Christian Initiation for Teens and Adults
- Comprehensive Theological, Historical, Ethical, Philosophical, and Sociological Education
- Grade-Level Days of Reflection
- Kairos Retreats for Incoming and Current Seniors
- Daily Prayer at the School Day’s Commencement, Before Each Class Period, Before Lunch, and Before Dismissal
- Virtue = Strength Program
I invite you to walk with us here at John Carroll, to breathe in and live out the Catholic faith in its beauty and fullness as truly universal. To students and families of all faith backgrounds, we stand together at the foot of the cross. In our community, everyone belongs, everyone is home, and everyone is loved.
Should you have any questions about our Catholic faith or service opportunities, please do not hesitate to contact me.
In Peace,
Mr. Joshua Kimmelman
