3 Full Day Sophomore Junior College Tour

We offer an annual college tour for students to explore several colleges in the state of Florida. This tour is designed to provide firsthand experience of campus life and help students make informed decisions about their college choices.
 

• Colleges Visited: University of North Florida, University of Florida, Florida State University, St. Leo University, University of Central Florida, Flager College, University of South Florida, Florida Southern College 
• Activities: Campus tours, Q&A sessions with current students, and informational sessions on academic programs and campus resources.

2025 College Tour

College Fair

In addition to the college tour, we are hosting a College Fair to bring a diverse range of colleges and universities directly to our students. This event will provide a unique opportunity for students to interact with admissions representatives and gather valuable information about various institutions.

Location: John Carroll High School Gymnasium
Participating Institutions: Over 30 colleges and universities, including Ivy League schools, state universities, liberal arts colleges, and technical institutes.
Highlights: Information booths, breakout sessions on financial aid and scholarship opportunities, and workshops on college application strategies.

College Planning Nights

Senior Parent Information Night: Review critical college application information, including dates and deadlines, graduation requirements, supplemental materials, financial aid, JCHS policies and procedures, and more. 

Junior Parent Information Night: Introduce components of the college application, including the college essay, standardized testing, letters of recommendation, building a college list, and more.

Freshmen & Sophomore Parent Information Night: Introduce JCHS academic standards and skills for a smooth transition to high school. Prepare families to support their students as they build a competitive application portfolio.
